Nearshore platform seats
Hire Remote DevOps and Platform Engineers
We place remote DevOps and platform engineers with US companies as dedicated contractors. They own pipelines, containers, observability and infrastructure as code inside your team. At $3,500 to $4,500 a month for a senior or Tier 3 seat, you can staff the seat you keep postponing, from a pool your job posting never reached.
Latin America gives you overlap, not handoffs
Platform work is not a queue you can hand off overnight. Pipelines break while your developers are working, alerts fire during your business day, and a deploy that stalls needs someone awake now. That is why we point DevOps searches at Latin America. The overlap is real time, so your engineer is in the incident channel while it matters.
We also recruit in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and South Africa, and those markets work well when the seat is build heavy rather than response heavy. If your platform team is mostly shipping automation and cleaning up infrastructure as code, the clock matters less than the skill. We will tell you which way we would go before the search opens.
Hire remote DevOps engineers into your own team
The engineer is engaged as a contractor through us and dedicated to your account. No one else's tickets, no one else's roadmap. They report to your engineering manager, sit in your standups and retros, and pull work from your board. You pay one monthly invoice. We pay the contractor and carry the contracting and compliance obligations in their country.
Getting started is deliberately light. A search opens with a $500 deposit, and that $500 comes straight back off your first month's invoice once the engineer starts. Your commitment at that point is 90 days of fees. If the fit turns out wrong inside that window, we run the search again and waive the deposit the second time. That is an easier yes than a year long contract.
Every candidate clears the same five gates before you meet them: we verify identity and work history, test language, test the actual skills the seat needs, call references, and check their workspace and security posture. Because platform engineering is a Tier 3 seat, contract to hire and direct placement are open to you as well if you later want them on your payroll.
What a platform budget buys outside the US
Platform teams are small, so every seat is a large share of the budget. That is why the third engineer keeps getting deferred while two people carry the pipelines, the on call and the toil. The band we quote for a senior platform seat is $3,500 to $4,500 a month, all in, which changes what a fixed budget can hold.
The pool changes too. DevOps hiring in the US puts you in line behind every startup with funding and every bank modernizing its stack. Outside that market, the same Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD experience is easier to reach, and the rate is strong and competitive where we recruit. The model works on the gap between labor markets, not on paying anyone badly.
When we are the wrong call
Skip us if you want outsourced delivery, where a vendor owns the platform and the outcome. We staff seats inside your organization, and you still manage the person. Skip us too if the work is a short project with a fixed end date. The seat is designed to stay filled for a year or more, and a six week sprint never gets to the part where it pays back.
What you get
Included in every engagement
Overlap hours, not a night shift
Nearshore Latin America keeps your engineer online while your developers are. They join incident calls live instead of reading the thread the next morning.
One monthly invoice, one seat
The contract sits with us. You get a dedicated contractor in your reporting line, and we handle the contracting and compliance work in their country.
90 days is the whole commitment
You commit to 90 days of fees when the engineer starts. Nothing longer is signed up front, and a wrong fit in that window means a free rerun.
Tested on your stack, not on trivia
Skills testing is one of five gates and is built around the tools you actually run, whether that is GitHub Actions and Argo or Jenkins and Terraform.
Optional secure remote workstation
Priced apart from the seat: a US hosted virtual desktop, centrally revocable access, disclosed activity monitoring, and managed endpoint protection, patching and threat response.
Screening
Five gates before you see a shortlist
- Identity & work history
- Language proficiency
- Role-specific skills testing
- Reference checks
- Workspace & security posture
Questions
Frequently asked
Will the engineer work our hours?
In Latin America, mostly yes. Overlap with a US business day is the reason we favor that region for platform work, and the working pattern gets written into the engagement before anyone starts. In the further markets you will get partial overlap, which suits build heavy seats better than incident response. Tell us which of those the seat really is.
What does the $3,500 to $4,500 senior seat rate cover?
Everything for the seat. The contractor, the contracting and compliance work in their country, and the people management we do around the engagement. Nothing is charged for the introduction itself, because we earn on the monthly rate instead. The only item quoted apart from the seat is the optional secure remote workstation package, and only if you decide you want it.
How long until we see candidates?
We will not quote you a number, and we would rather lose the deal than invent one. A DevOps search moves at the speed of the stack you run and the market that holds it. What we will tell you is where the time goes: scoping the seat in detail up front, recruiting against that scope, and running five screening gates before a name reaches you.
Can we start with one engineer and add more?
Yes. You can start with one staff augmentation seat and add more. When it becomes a whole function rather than a set of seats, the dedicated team model is the same arrangement at scale. Each additional seat runs on its own $500 deposit and its own 90 day commitment, so scaling up is a series of small decisions rather than one large one. Nothing forces you past the seat you have.
