Security engineering seats
Hire remote security engineers your budget can actually fund
Companies hire remote security engineers through us for detection engineering, hardening, and identity work. The contractor is dedicated to your account and reports to your managers. Senior security pay is the hardest line to fund domestically, and that is where a deeper pool at $3,500 to $4,500 a month changes what you can afford.
The seat that keeps getting deferred
Detection rules go stale. Identity cleanup slips another quarter. The hardening baseline exists as a document nobody has applied since the auditor last asked. None of this is a mystery to you; it is a funding problem. The person who would fix it commands a salary that competes with everything else on the security budget, so the seat sits open and the work sits still.
Be clear about what this does not solve. We are not a consultancy and we do not sell a project. If you want an architecture review delivered in six weeks, a penetration test, or a named expert to parachute in and leave a report, we are the wrong call. We fill a seat you plan to keep.
Hire remote security engineers onto your team
The engineer is contracted through us and dedicated to your account. They take work from your backlog, join your standups, submit changes through your review process, and report to your manager. Scope is whatever you actually need built and maintained: detection engineering and tuning, endpoint and cloud hardening, identity and access work, SIEM content, vulnerability remediation, or the security side of platform changes.
Commercially it is one line. You pay us monthly, we pay the contractor, and the contracting and compliance obligations in their country are ours to carry. Nothing about the engagement puts a new person on your payroll unless you choose that route later. At this level you can: contract to hire and direct placement are both available for Tier 3 and management seats.
How we screen before you interview anyone
Five gates, every candidate, no exceptions. We verify identity and work history. We test language proficiency, since design reviews and incident write-ups both live or die on it. We run role-specific skills testing. We take references. We check workspace and security posture, because a security engineer working from an unmanaged machine on a shared network is a risk you inherit.
The skills gate for engineering seats is practical work, set by people who run security operations inside our own group. A rule to write and justify. A baseline to pick apart. A log source to make sense of. Candidates who can talk about detection but have never shipped one do not get through, which is the whole reason our sourcing runs slower than a resume forwarder's.
Where the budget argument bites hardest
Senior security pay is the hardest line to fund domestically. That is exactly why this role is where an international engagement changes the shape of your plan. A senior or Tier 3 technical seat through us is $3,500 to $4,500 a month, all in. That figure covers the contractor, the contracting and compliance work behind them, and the people management wrapped around the seat.
We will not quote you a saving, a percentage or a multiple. What we will say is that an international contractor costs a fraction of a comparable US hire, that the rate is strong and competitive in the markets we recruit from, and that the model works on the gap between labour markets. You are buying access to a bigger pool and enough budget to reach into it.
The commitment is small for a seat this senior. Ninety days of fees when the engineer starts, and that is the whole thing. The model is designed for seats kept filled a year or more, because that is the horizon over which the investment pays back, but you are not asked to sign for a year to find out.
What you get
Included in every engagement
One rate, one invoice
$3,500 to $4,500 a month for a senior or Tier 3 technical seat. It covers the contractor, the compliance work behind the engagement, and the management around the seat.
A search opens with $500
The deposit is credited back against your first monthly invoice once the engineer starts, so a completed search costs you nothing beyond the seat itself. We earn on the monthly rate.
Wrong fit inside 90 days
We run the search again and waive the $500 deposit on the replacement. Past 90 days the engineer is still engaged through us, so the seat stays our responsibility.
Optional secure remote workstation
One package, priced apart from the seat: a US-hosted virtual desktop keeping company data on US infrastructure, revocable central access, disclosed activity monitoring, and managed endpoint protection, patching and response.
A route onto your payroll
Contract to hire and direct placement are available for Tier 3 technical and management seats, which includes this one. Both end with the engineer employed directly by you.

Questions
Frequently asked
Who manages the engineer day to day?
You do. The engineer sits in your reporting line, takes priorities from your managers, and works your account only. We handle everything behind that: the contract, payment to the contractor, the compliance obligations in their country, and the people management around the seat, including check-ins and anything the engagement needs on our side. You get a team member, not a vendor relationship to administer.
How do we handle production access for a contractor abroad?
The optional secure remote workstation package exists for exactly this. The engineer works inside a US-hosted virtual desktop, so company data stays on US infrastructure rather than a personal machine overseas. Access is controlled centrally and revoked the day an engagement ends. Activity monitoring runs there, disclosed to the contractor and written into their agreement. Endpoint protection, patching, detection and response are managed on it.
Why is your sourcing slower than other firms?
Because we scope the seat properly before we recruit, then put every candidate through five gates rather than forwarding whatever the search turned up. The cost is at the front of the process. The benefit is that your engineers spend interview time assessing people who can already do the work. We will not quote a time to shortlist or a time to fill, at any point, for any role.
Where do you recruit security engineers from?
The Philippines and Southeast Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and South Africa. Which region we search depends on the seat: the stack you run, the hours you need covered, and how much overlap with your team the work demands. We scope that with you before the search opens rather than after, because it changes who we go looking for.
