AP and AR staffing

Hire remote accounts payable and receivable specialists

We place remote accounts payable and receivable specialists with US finance teams. They are engaged as contractors through us, dedicated to your account, and report to your controller. Recruiting internationally widens who you can consider and makes the money you already budgeted for the seat go further.

Tell us what you need

Five gates, and one of them is a reconciliation

Every candidate clears the same five gates before you see them. We verify identity and work history. We check language proficiency, because AP and AR is a job of chasing people for answers. We run a role-specific skills test. We take references. We check the workspace and security posture they will be working from. Nothing gets skipped because a seat is urgent.

For AP and AR the skills test is a reconciliation. We give the candidate a statement and a ledger that do not agree, and we watch what they do about it. Coding invoices and applying cash is teachable. Noticing that a number is wrong, tracing it, and writing up what happened is the part that separates people, so that is the part we test.

A wider pool of accounts payable and receivable talent

In a US metro you are bidding for AP and AR clerks against every other company on the same street, and the good ones tend to leave when someone offers more. Recruiting in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and South Africa changes both sides of that. The pool is much larger, and an international contractor costs a fraction of a comparable US hire, so the money you already set aside reaches further into it.

This role sits below our senior technical band, so we do not publish a rate for it. AP and AR seats are quoted per role, once we know the volume, the systems, the hours you need covered and how much judgment the seat carries. You get one monthly invoice that covers the contractor, the contracting and compliance work in their country, and the people management around the seat.

Finance data stays on US infrastructure

Bank statements, vendor bank details, customer contact records and your whole aging live inside AP and AR. If that worries you, the one add-on we sell is built for exactly this. It is a secure remote workstation, priced separately from the seat and bought as a single package.

The contractor works inside a US-hosted virtual desktop, so your data stays on US infrastructure instead of a personal machine abroad. Access is controlled centrally and can be revoked the day the engagement ends. Productivity and activity monitoring is included, disclosed to the contractor and written into their agreement. The endpoint is managed for protection, patching, threat detection and response.

Where this is the wrong answer

This is not a fit if you want someone in the building to open mail, handle physical checks or sign anything as an officer of your company. It is not a fit if your process only exists in one person's head, because a dedicated contractor needs something to be trained against. And it is not a fit if you want a body this week.

We are slower to source than firms that forward resumes, and that is deliberate. We scope the seat properly, recruit against that scope, and put every candidate through the five gates. The result is that you interview people who can do the work rather than filtering a stack of maybes. If you need coverage tomorrow, we are the wrong call.

One more limit worth saying out loud: this seat does not convert to your payroll. Contract to hire and direct placement are available for Tier 3 technical and management seats only. An AP or AR specialist stays engaged as a contractor through us for as long as you keep the seat.

What you get

Included in every engagement

Dedicated to your ledger

Your specialist works your account and only your account. No shared pool, no ticket queue, no juggling three companies' invoices in the same afternoon.

Ninety days is the whole commitment

When your contractor starts you commit to 90 days of fees. Nothing longer is signed up front, which makes this a much smaller decision than a year-long contract.

A deposit, not a placement fee

$500 opens the search and comes straight back off your first month's invoice when the contractor starts. There is no placement fee in this model.

Built for seats you keep filled

The commitment is short, but the model is designed for AP and AR seats you expect to keep filled a year or more, because that is where the investment pays back.

Whole functions, not just one seat

If you are rebuilding the back office rather than filling one chair, the same arrangement covers a dedicated team: AP, AR, billing and collections support under your managers.

Questions

Frequently asked

What does a remote AP or AR specialist cost?

This role sits below our senior technical band, so there is no published rate for it. We quote AP and AR seats per role once we understand invoice volume, your systems, the hours you need covered and how much the person has to decide on their own. You then pay one monthly invoice. We earn on that monthly rate, not on the introduction, so our interest is a seat that stays filled.

How does the $500 deposit work?

A search opens with a $500 deposit. When your contractor starts, that deposit is credited back against your first month's invoice, so a completed placement costs you nothing for the search itself. If the fit turns out to be wrong inside the first 90 days, we run the search again and waive the deposit on the replacement. After 90 days the person is still engaged through us, so keeping the seat filled stays our job.

How long does it take to fill the seat?

We do not quote a time to shortlist or a time to fill, and we would rather say that plainly than give you a number we might miss. It depends on the role, the scope and the market we are recruiting in. What we will tell you is that we are slower than a resume mill on purpose, and that the commitment when your contractor starts is 90 days of fees, not a year.

Who does the specialist report to?

They report to your controller or AP manager, sit in your reporting line and work only your account. They are not shared with other clients. The contract sits with us: you pay one monthly invoice, we pay the contractor, and we carry the contracting and compliance obligations in the country they work from. Day to day, you manage the person the same way you manage the rest of your finance team.
